More Futbol Madness

Germany is enjoying the tourism right now. This giant LED screen by Philips is, according to personal accounts on forums, three stories high. It is anchored at the River Main between the Alte Mainbrücke and Ignatz-Bubis-Brücke bridges in Frankfurt. Fitting thousands, even possible to be a million, of people into a stadium is impossible, so they had this solution which they call the Main Arena where Fan Fests are held. Viewing is free but you have to be there two hours before the kickoff to compete for good spots. Philips is an official partner for this year's World Cup. They provided the RFID ticketing and the Plasma screens scattered in the city. You could compare the size to the surrounding structures and objects to get my point.
