Banyo Recordings

It's official that Tuesday nights and Wednesdays are the worst times of the week. Anyway, Ramel passed by the house with his nephew then we picked up Ian at AUP then had dinner. We also crashed at Eric's house after that, we were waiting for Ramel's sister. Yesterday was my favorite brother's birthday and this time I [almost] did not forget. So yesterday, I went jammin with July. I brought my camera for some reason and started recording. It was fun. I should do this all the time. I have an account at audiostreet. I uploaded the songs there. Now, say this three times to yourself before listening to it, "It was recorded on a digital camera, that's why the quality sucks". I named the album "Banyo Recordings" because of the poor quality and grainy distortion. Anyway, listen to it. It's still bearable. Click here to listen. Please leave a comment about it. I'm going to use these recordings to track our progress. Help me. The first track is a cover "Munting Paraiso (Little Paradise)" by Razorback from the album, "Beggar's Moon". That's my favorite album. I don't really know what the next one is so I just called it "Are You Old School?" because I thought it was the theme from the movie School of Rock. There's something with the lead that Jose made on this part, I wish he plays like that more often. The last track is another cover "Enter Sandman" by Metallica. I'm not sure which album it's from but I think it's from the Black Album. There are two other songs but they're really bad. I think it's enough to torture you with these three. So friends, criticize us/me. My old room mate and family friend, Samuel just reached me through Friendster. Again, Friendster found a way to help me, gives me one reason to check it. He left a message with, "What the fuck did you do to your hair? I saw Dhen in your friends list". I can't believe that he forgot everything else except Dhen. Yeah, I know. Dhen's cute, adorable and everything and I guess he really fell for her. Hehe! Anyway, I told him how he could reach me. He barely changed. He still fights with his mom everyday. You have to see them fight, they scream at each other in Chinese or something. Anyway, he drives now but he doesn't play the violin or his harmonica anymore. He said he's not that happy in the States. On February 11, 2005 will be our Band Fair (Battle of the Bands, they just gave it a pretty name). We'll be joining (I think I'll be in two bands). Be there, it'll be at DLS-Canlubang, Biñan, Laguna. Then on March 4, will be our talent night. We'll be playing more songs. Still at the same place (the rehab). Don't miss it, you know I call you a friend so I'm expecting you to be at one of the events mentioned above. I guess that's it for now. It's Friday again tomorrow. Woohoo! It's the weekend again!
