Old Treasures

I just finished cleaning my closet, the mysteries space under my bed and my desk. It's funny that I found old love letters in my drawer. All from and to me. Hahaha! I was laughing at them. They were dated years ago. They were all sorted by sender and there was this girl that wrote so much but I never really knew where she lived, there was no return address. So I never got to write back. What happened to the letters after I read them? I kept them again. They're priceless. I also found my old report cards from high school. My grades are so funny, I have no idea how I graduated from high school. Other shit were important CDs, useless CDs, user manuals for computer hardware and empty CD and tape cassette cases. Then under my bed was a broken keyboard, old notes, old test and exam papers, one cigarette and tons of Fortune magazines. Under my desk was more issues of Fortune, an old power supply and a broken motherboard. I kept those, except the magazines which I added to the huge collection of Asiaweek and National Geographic way back from 1988. It's like history. Yesterday, I went to school to complete some requirements for an activity of my organization. Then hung around and went jammin. We found a new studio, it's great and cheaper but it's a bit far. I went home then left again to meet up with Jhessel and Ramel, I had a little drinks then we had dinner. I accompanied the two to get a ride home until we saw Eric and I just asked him to drive them home and I'll gas his car up. I don't know why but I always enjoy riding in that car specially when we're all in there. This morning I woke up early [but still late] to go to school but my stupidity struck again when I thought it was Friday today. I thought my class is at 8, so I got really pissed when I got there. I went back, had breakfast and had a little sleep. By the way, I talked to my dad and we'll have the DSL reconnected. I'll pitch in 500 smackers every month. There'll be a bonfire party for Sir Nash, he's back from London. Hope it goes well. Then on Saturday, my organization will go to SM Megamall for the 2005 Games and Gadgets Show. Be there! It starts tomorrow until Sunday at the Megatrade Hall 1 & 2. Here's my schedule for this trimester: This is the experience of my cousins at Thailand:

1/5/2005 8:06 PM hello everyone, happy new year to all! we left manila on dec 25 at 6pm for the airport. arrived bangkok at 12mn. had to stay overnight in bangkok since our connecting flight to phuket was on the next day at 3:00 pm. was at the airport the next day at 1pm. the monitor didn't show our flight. thought was still a bit early. thirty minutes later, counter showed sign: "delayed flight at 5pm". everyone approched the counter for info. reason: earthquake at phuket. at about 3.30, countert was opened for checked in. we were the first ones to check in. at 4.20pm, was boarding time; then everything went chaos. we couldn't locate our gate, no further announcements, no airline representative on site, etc. at 6pm, p*** got a phone call from his brother r******... breaking the news in phuket. he was dead worried! text messages started coming in from manila and germany adding more information about the disaster in phuket. p*** decided to call the german embassy bangkok. was advised not to proceed to phuket. i didn't believe it coz all other flights to phuket had left but our flight was the only one left alone. went around the airport to get more information... CNN had started showing film clips about the disaster. that was the only time we made the decision. went back to the airline counter, refunded our ticket, got back our luggage and proceeded to downtown hotel. unluckily, all hotels were fully booked! tourism in thailand is booming! got hold of the travel agency that made our booking in phuket... she was able to give us a hotel... for a night. we had to hop from one hotel to another. stayed in bangkok all the time. thank you all for your concern and good wishes. thanks God we are safe. came back home yesterday. regards, m****,c****,d***
