Centrino + Turion = Centurion
Oh man, we just had our worst gig. My bass was out of tune when I used it. Damn, that sucked! We played Kaleidoscope World by Francis Magalona and You Wanted More by Tonic. It surely was a shame to do a bad cover.
Anyway, my mom's on her way to the States tonight. I was supposed to ask for something but since I'm going to HK this summer, I changed my mind. Maybe I could find something myself.
Check this out. Cool, I found something new. The Shocker! Haha! There's even a shirt over here.
I know that my computers have been extremely sluggish with all the "protection" provide for it and I finally decided to ease on the burden. This will increase my productivity by switching antivirus software from Norton Antivirus 2005 to NOD32 and my software firewall from ZoneAlarm (Free) to Kerio Personal Firewall. It surely shortened system startup and shutdown, application startup/preloading and overall performance. Besides that, it uses less memory and processor power. I say switch now!
Also, for the AMD lovers and Intel Centrino users, AMD just released the Turion64. A new mobile processor based from the Athlon64 family with improvements on power consumption and performance. The difference it may have is that AMD is not providing all the wireless/mobile peripherals and chipsets but they have partners where you could choose from. It's pretty cool really. The next laptop that I'll get will probably a Turion64. Read more here.
