Gotta Love Fire

There's been a change of plans for my summer vacation. I'll be travelling alone either to Singapore or Hong Kong for one month. I don't want to go to Taiwan anymore because I can't speak any Chinese language. I want to go to the States and visit a couple of friends but renewing my visa will be a big hassle. March 3, 2005 is the day that the students of De La Salle - Canlubang almost burned down. Haha! It was a very hot day and in this time of the year, we have the strong Siberian winds. There was this small wild fire that started behind the line of trees at the field (this is very far from the building). It grew larger and the direction of the wind was to the building. The guards thought that it will not reach the campus vicinities until it became uncontrollable. It almost burned one small structure ~500m from the building, the soccer field and a car. The firetrucks arrived when the fire was dying. It burned all the grass beside the strip and almost reached the nearby village. I'll post pictures of before and after so that you can compare what happened. It all happened in less than 2 hours and it was right on time because my exam on DISMATH was moved to next Monday when the alarm went off. The Bass Guitar Clinic went okay. I think Myung signed a contract with Yamaha where he gets his own customized axe but he has to tour and do this clinics or something. It looked like he was forced to do it. I learned some stuff but most of the stuff that was demonstrated there was the basic stuff. After that, I hung out with JC's friends until 11:30 and went home to Alabang. It's been more than a month since I stepped foot on that house. There was this strange feeling when I woke up. I started walking around, went to my old room and looked around. I miss my old days. I even saw some old classmates on the way back to Laguna. I'll probably stay there for a while someday. I have this classmate at POLIGOV, he told me that anybody can use the WiFi hostpot outside the canteen. All you need is to flick a switch and your done. I didn't know about that, Randy [Mario] told me it was deactivated. Greedy bastard.
