I. Your Online Journal: A Possible Lifesaver
Check this out, I got this from one of my professor's blog. Read the comments to the posts then read this news article. A little bit more research on this thing led to a Wikipedia item and a crime blog. There are lots of other blog posts about Simon's blog but most of them says the same thing, the power of online journals and weblogs.
I suggest that you really read all the links I provided (learn something new for a change). That way, you could get my point. The coincidence was that I was in HK when all this happened. I even had a post that day (when I got back from Macau).
II. Shove VAT Up in GMA's Ass
VAT has gone too far. I don't know what our president is doing and why she signed the whole thing at all. There are some things that I don't want to be taxed, highway toll, gas and CD-Rs. Yes, CD-Rs. They have VAT now. I asked my dad to buy some CD-Rs this evening. I was surprised when I saw 10% VAT written on the reciept.
It's really time for our politicians to stop putting our money in their pockets and their spoiled kids' mouths.
